Ahhhhh, MR. 335! This was the first time I'd seem Larry Carlton since 1984 at the Baked Potato! Larry is still a master! He had his son playing bass with him. He was so proud of him! Check out the slideshow below the pics for the full effect! What a weekend!

I've been asked about a half dozen times in airports if I'm Larry. He and I look enough alike to be brothers. Hairline, glasses, everything, except I have a ponytail. Now if I could only play like him.....

Whew. There's something about seeing a great guitarist having a heap of fun playing a bunch of different axes with a bunch of other musicians who look as though they're having fun, too. I don't need to hear it to be inspired. Skooze me while I log off and head back to the music room.
