Mick Martin hosts a great weekly blues show out of KXJZ 88.9 FM in Sacramento, California. I'm about 120 miles south of Sacramento and can still pick up the signal. The show runs every Saturday from 1-5 PM and is fantastic.

Yesterday (8/27) he raved about the Ford Brother's performance last Saturday at the Sonora Blues Festival and said Elvin Bishop sat in for two songs. Mick then played an extended set off the tribute albums to Mike Bloomfield and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band.

It was great to hear such killer music and all the attention and respect paid to Robben and his brothers and the other musicians involved in those two albums.

Did anyone attend the Sonora Blues Festival? I'm surprised not to see any posts.
