Hi , actually eveything seems to be disturbed. Some people refused to agree ( about - with ) the Kyoto Protocol, then we have the result .
Right in the face of New Orleans. Next is a new one for Florida.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyoto_Protocol. Interesting reading. Never knew anything about this. Not defending the US position, but there seems to be a double standard- China, being the 2nd largest emitter of greenhouse gases, is exempt from participating! Why?!?

Don't get me started on the position of my country...

Allowed to increase emissions by 8%, but refuses to ratifty the agreement anyway. Most of the country that's not desert already has been in drought for years and our biggest city is running out of fresh water. And we don't get cyclones (hurricanes that go the other way around) in the big cities so we will probably continue to keep our heads up our *sses and pretend it's not our problem.

hmmm...

Because China holds the lions share of our staggering national debt (thanks GW). Ergo, no pressure from the super power to reform.

Cool It's not global warming. It's our stubborn and misguided refusal to bring disco back. Until we get right with Donna Summer, it's gonna' be summer all year round.

Blue - you must have several pairs of platform shoes in the closet that you refuse to part with!

I am off to a climate change conference in a couple of weeks - I will have to try out the "disco theory" in my presentation.
