Unfortunately, Robben's January clinic coincides with the NAMM show in Anaheim. I'm planning to attend the NAMM show, and would love to make it to the clinic too, but I'm afraid that would be stretching it a bit thin for an old codger like me. So, anyone here planning to attend the NAMM show, or the clinic, or both?

Hi Bill, you old codger Laughing

What a great phrase! I used to use that when I was a "wipper snapper", when addressing old folk (obviously!).

Bill, due to the Geographics of these advents, I will not be going to either Crying or Very sad

Would it be possible for you to report back with any mind blowing gear from NAMM, in particular any pedal/amps which do the Dumble thing. I know we both have the fantastic Zendrive, but there really is an explosion of pedals being released at the moment and it is just too hard to keep up with it all.

Anyway, have a ball whatever you do!

Cheer's,

DD

Hi 'dude. I'll do my best to keep an eye out for anything that I think might be of interest to the group. I think it will be hard to find anything that can compete with the Zendrive though. And now that I am officially an "old codger", I'm not as spry as I used to be, so I'm not sure how much I'll actually get to see. Anyone else going to be at the show?

Bill - What is it about sitting in a comfortable chair at Robben's clinic that taxes your limited mobility or reminds you of your geological age?

Friday night after the show it's kind of a tradition to go out with all my friends at the show, and we are inclined to be a bit wild (boys away from home and all that). So the idea of leaving the bars and clubs after a night of drunken depravity, driving up to Ojai and staying awake for the clinic is more than this old codger than take. Besides, Saturday night I'm having a reunion with a bunch of my old A&M buddies, so I'd have to rush back to LA for that. If the clinic had been on Sunday, I would have seriously considered it, but the timing just doesn't work for me. I do hope to make it one day though. I haven't given up yet! Are you going? It would be a good chance to show off that new fiddle of yours.

Hi Scott,

I'll be wandering around with Gil and a few other people. I'm sure we'll run into each other at some point. Are you going to be in Andy's booth again?

I'm fortunate, I'm able to get a press pass for NAMM and am planning to attend but I'm also considering making a pitstop in Ojai... What a weekend that will be Very Happy .

Anybody in the NYC area attending the AES convention in October?

Hey Scott, What about me? Don't you want to see my smilin' face? Well, it's easy to accomplish - send me a pass (or sneak me in in a speaker cab).
