Hi Kirk,

many thanks for the superb photo's. You are one lucky guy; RF & EJ on stage together in what looks like a fantastic setting!

Now to the Zen pedal. This may be the affordable holy grail for me. How do I get one? Is it the Zen Drive, or Zen Drive 2? Are they REALLY as good as you say, I mean this pedal and my little Mesa amp, and hey presto, one Dumble??

Please let me know the full details.

Many thanks again, and keep up the great work.

Cheer's,

DD

Hi, I can only speak for myself; the Zendrive is well worth it if you are looking for a Robben tone. I do beleive that he's using the solid state Zendrive w/ 4 knobs (early ones only had 3), not the Zendrive 2 (yet). The Zendrive 2 is a tube version that to my knowledge has not been released yet, but there are clips available at http://www.thegearpage.net/board/ and @ Harmony Central. I figured if it was good enough for Robben it's good enough for me!

I really enjoyed the pic's, and would have loved to heard this concert. While Robben's style and music moves me more, I guess because there's more warmth and emotion, I still love to hear Eric play. Eric takes a divergent path that makes him a unique player--not quite as accessible for my taste as Robben's, but still he makes some very interesting music. And he's from Texas...

I would like to read some more reviews of this concert.

Those pictures are worth a million words...thanks again.
