Razz Well finally Zappa family put out a new DVD . Dub Room Special.
Way back in 1979 when there was (real good music)Rock'n roll on french TV i've seen this live set from 74 with N.Murphy Brooks, G.Duke Chester thompson and more, and some faboulous animations from Mr Bickford.
It's the same mixed with an other gig in the eighties with/ Vai,White, Wackermann and......... Plus you have the Valley girl documentary featuring Moon. Sometimes when you see or listen something it leaves you such a frame in your mind that you want more or more than twice (something like drug, the brain ask ). That 's the case with me and this DVD.
I am going to look Refuge of the roads from joni mitchell right now.

Then if you wanna check real good Video stuff ranging from 70's to SRV
go to this link : http://tela.sugarmegs.org

there is a lot of audio too but too long to download , some of the video are just streaming thru media player . Check out SRV or Bonnie or even Mountain in Cincinatti 1970. Needless to say the D.Gatton's ones are cool too.
I just saw Barber shop with Ice Cube and i really dig it, it remains me of the Barber shop in an Eddy Murphy movie, something from Spike lee too in Do the right thing, or something from Georges Clinton , he wrote some memories from his youth when he was starting to Doo Woop and the way he was speaking of barber shop got the same feeling than in this movie.
Wink
