I'm a guitar player, singer, songwriter from Toledo, Ohio. I've been playing guitar for about 35 years now, performing professionally both live and in studio work off and on for about 30 of those years.

Right now I have started my own blues and blues/rock style band. We should be back out gigging early next year ... and I'm looking forward to it!

As for my gear, I usually play either a Grosh Retro Classic "Strat" or an Ibanez AS-200 (ES-335 style guitar) through a '68 Twin Reverb. Not many effects, usually ... an old Ibanez AD-9 analog delay occasionally, an AnalogMan Boss DS-1 Pro, and a Fulltone Deja Vibe 2.

I've been a big fan of Robben's for years ... own every CD he's released except for The Yellowjackets stuff. Other Guitar influences of mine include Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, T-Bone Walker, Albert King, Jimmy Herring, Trey Anastasio ... among others.

Thanks for reading! Smile

Welcome to the Board. It's a great place to hang. I'm from your neck of the woods (kind of). I'm up in SE Michigan (Rochester).

Another thing in common, I have one of those Ibanez AS-200s too. I got mine in 1981 and had Seymour Duncans installed (JB and a Jazz) shortly after I got it. That guitar is still a killer!!

Thanks neighbor! You playing with a band these days?

My AS-200 still has the stock Super 58's in it. I've owned 3 Gibson ES-335's (including one mondo pricey '59RI ES-335), and in my opinion this AS-200 blows all of those away in terms of build quality, playability, and tones. I love the Super 58's. Sounds great through my '68 Twin. Cool
