|
Here's a little clip from my gig last night. It's a cover of a Robben tune - "Up The Line." Thought you guys might get a kick out of this.
Please excuse the couple of mistakes...oopppsss! What can I say I was going for it. ...well maybe a couple of beers!
The recording is just a little Sony stereo mike direct into my Nomad Jukebox taped to one of our monitors.
I am on guitar and vocals.

Dave, that's very nice. Great playing, great tone... I'm jealous
The Two Rock seems to be a very nice amp. |

yOOW Captain,
Very most likely and near the tone at RF use but............
the first couplet is very near that sound Robben use but after that couplet you make another sound ! And don't play so fast ! Robben doesn't do that!
Whan are you commin' to Europe..............When will that happen ?

Thanks everybody!
That's my classic rock cover band. That's the only Robben tune I could sneak in. Most of the night it's 70's rock...Allmans, Dead, CCR, Cream, Little Feat, Steely Dan. We hadn't done a gig in a while so we were all really ready to play!
I will be posting the rest of the gig on my site in a couple of days.... _________________ www.hendersounds.com

First of all it's a Tele (Nocaster) not a strat. I had my 2290 set at 170ms, set to a single delay, mixed in at 78%. That's very close to Robben's 168 ms setting. He also uses the tighter 116ms setting alot.
As far as single coils sounding like Humbuckers, that's my Opal. I love that amp! _________________ www.hendersounds.com
