Seriously, this is a labor of love. Ed and Henk play their asses off and handle a really wide and diverse set of RF tunes. Good band behind them backing them up, and Ed even cracks a few jokes. English subtitles for the German language impaired, even.
To put on this kind of event takes a lot of time and commitment, for sure, but to put together a band and play these tunes that the folks on this board know and love and make it available to all of us takes a lot of cojones. Well done, gentlemen! |
Thanks Telefunk, if you ever come to Austria I will invite you to a fancy candlelight dinner, just the two of us...... promised

Got the DVD a few days ago.
At first I would kike to thank Ed for sending me one.
This is really a very nice video document of this event.
As Telefunken said, this is a real professional package.
Cool stage, nice lighting, nice DVD layout, good sound...
The choice of tunes really shows the various aspects of Robben's work.
You can see that Ed and Henk have been woodshedding their Robben chops before the concert
The band grooves nicely too, I like the keyboard solos, some cool ideas.
Overall, this is obviously a labor of love
Congrats guys ! |

Curious what will be the next place for another RF Tribute. I prefer the South of France in la Provence.

That looks like so much fun!
So, where do I send payment? I'd like to get a copy of this. Paypal would be great.
Let me know!
Thanks,
