Joyful and triumphant,
Come ye, O come ye, to Tampa Bay.
O come, let us adore him ...

Just got into my home. 17" of snow, up to 3 feet in drifts(!), starting today from about 6am to about 4pm. White-out conditions at times, and thunder and lightning reported in some areas south of Boston! My company closed at 2pm, at the tail end of the storm, but still blizzard (white out) conditions at times. Took me almost an hour to get across town and to the main highway (495). And, once on the highway, it was "only" another hour to get home (about 15 miles). Got home, and the condo complex hadn't seen a plow. Bullshit, after they raised our fees significantly to pay for the increased gas prices (which have gone down significantly). Anyway, I shovelled my own drive and walk ways (great exercise!), got the cars in where they belong, and now I'm home, warm dry, and comfortable...
I love New England! _________________ Soul on Eleven |
