Gotta check this guy out. Was gonna say "kid", but he ain't no kid no more (unless you're 50+ like me, but who cares, right?).
Anyway, the point is that Mike Welch is in the start of a tour, mostly in France, and people should check him out.
BTW, a little history about how Mike Welch became Monster Mike Welch. About 10 or so years ago, Mike, then a young kid in his early teens, played the House of Blues in Boston many times, and tore the place up each time. And, at that time, Blues Brother Dan Akroyd, who was in part ownership of the Boston HoB, in amazement of the kid's immense talent for blues guitar, dubbed him, "Monster Mike". As Mike grew older (still a teenager, though), he tried to dismiss the "Monster", but soon thereafter, realized that it's always going to be a part of him, so he graciously continued with the moniker. And, rightfully so, cause he is a monster blues guitar player! I'm sure you'll agree...

Well John Z , after reading your post , knewing you're a Wise guy , i did a quick internet search just to learn Monster is playing tomorrow in a 10 miles range from my house. Guess what ???? i am going to check this out .
