I've just bought a sunburst model of the Squier Master built Esprit reissue of the Fender Ultra Esprit, its a fantastic piece of kit IMHO. Anyone else got one and willing to share their thoughts! Mine played perfectly straight out of the box..

Heres a link if you have'nt seen one...

Hi John,
There are several of us who own Esprits. I've had mine since they first became available. Do a search on Esprit and you will find a couple of threads including an ongoing discussion about pickup choices.

Your welcome, John. Like yours, my Esprit played perfectly right out of the box. I have always been leery of ordering a guitar that I can't play first, but it wasn't a problem with the Esprit. I haven't done anything to mine. It's still completely stock.

For the money (£290 here in the uk) its got to be the guitar bargain of the year. I also have a 57 reissue US Strat which has'nt been out of its case since last week.
Looking forward to gigging it in a couple of weeks. Its only been through a small amp at home cant wait to put it through my Twin down at our rehearsal rooms.

Now I need to find out what settings RF uses on his twin.

Thanks again

John
