The Concord Music web site has some Spring dates for Robben posted:
May 6th at the Tampa Bay Blues Festival (are you ready Roadwarrior!!!!)
May 25-28 at Yoshi's
Daved - can you remind Robben and Dal that there are lot of people in between the left and right coasts that would like to catch a show! |

Thanks for the info, telefunk.
I just checked Pollstar, and it lists only the 3/17 show on Long Island and the early May bluesfest in Tampa. I never thought to check the Concord Music site, but it doesn't list the 3/17 show. I wish there was only 1 stop for complete and up-to-date concert listings... |

Hi Telefunk, Yes, I was psyched to see Robben listed on the performance schedule for the Tampa Bay Blues Fest ! You bet I'll be there... all three days. It's a well run festival and this year's line up of performers is excellent. About 40,000 people attend over the 3 days   . Last year, Robert Cray signed autographs for about 2 hours...

 What if anything do any of you SF Bay folks know about the Feb. 4 benefit date at The Independent in San Francisco? Or about the venue, etc.? I'm in Santa Cruz that day, and a trip up to SF before heading home the next day might be just the ticket.

Shoot, I'm playing in Capitola that night (swing by if you get out early). I'd rather have the inspiration than the twenty bucks.

Daved, you might also want to remind Robben that there are folks on the upper left coast who would love to see a show.
And why is it that we have to find out where Robben is playing on Volker Strifler's web site? Or Concord Records? Or anywhere else that has an incomplete schedule of Robben's appearances. Can Robben promote himself on his own web site? Just a little? It would make the fans very happy!  |
