Based on a comment made by board member Johnnyz when I previously asked some questions about Robben's clinics in Ojai, I bought a copy of "Zen Guitar" by Philip Toshio Sudo. Just a quick "thanks to Johnny".......it's a wonderful little book and after finishing it yesterday really understand why Robben recommends it. Considering his approach to music and songs, the book makes mucho sense. The book concentrates on the "full being" of a guitarist........not just the technical aspects. I highly recommend it, as well.

I have a copy that I bought based on recommendations from this board. It's in my desk drawer here at work so I can review it when things are slow. It really does help. I believe I can tell a difference in my playing since I read it.
