I,ve been waiting for a Zen Drive for months from Alfonso. It seems he is way, way, way behind in his ability to produce enough units. If I had a business that was growing I hire help and bank the funds, then maybe buy a dumble and not worry about the Zen Drive.

Alf works with each one individually to make sure it performs the way he expects it too. Not something that can be knocked out like clock radios. Took me longer than publisized too, but as Henk says, worth the wait. Two nights this weekend I'll be stepping on this wonderful gadget. It's become indespensible in spite of having a Fuchs overdrive. It just does something else that makes it fun to play.

Yes, lots of patience is needed. I ordered mine on 12/03/05, and I've yet to receive it. I asked "Alf" for a status last week, and it appears that he's replying with a standard text (as opposed to a personal reply that he seemed to give in the past), basically saying that he's working on December's orders now.

I'm to believe that he received more orders than expected, largely due to the exceptional praise for the Zendrive in this forum (and probably others) in the past 6 months, and that the unfortunate weather conditions last Fall, caused unexpected slowdowns in his production. And, as Aeolian expressed, Alf insists on having his own personal touch on every unit...

At this point, I've stopped waiting for and thinking about my Zendrive, and when it arrives, it arrives. Surprise, woo-hoo!

I too sent Alf a money order at the very beginning of Dec. '05 and haven't received mine yet. Last we corresponded he was looking to ship it at the end of Feb. But i too will wait patiently and know that he is doing his best and appreciate the attention and personal care he puts in every unit.

Bluejack, you said you sent Alf your order in early Dec. '05, which is when I also sent mine (so we should be on the "same page"), I'd be curious to know when you get yours. And, when mine arrives, I'll also let you know...

And, bluenote, I hope you run out of that Robben Tone in a Can before your Zendrive arrives... Razz

Yes, Johnny Z, looked at the money order reciept and coincidentally it's dated Dec. 03 '05, same exact date as your order. So like you said ,we should be in the same batch. Looking forward to it and i'll let you know.

Well guys, I belive I started emailing Alf back in August 05 for information on the Zen. I was trying to determine which one Robben uses and wasnt sure about Alfs new tube drivin Zen Drive, so I did have some confusion. I have been on some list since the end of October or early November. In December he said he was getting close to shipping out a few units so I sent him the money. I have no idea where this puts me other than just waiting and wait I will.
