Found some dates for the UK
9th Manchester University (Academy 3)
15th Boardwalk Sheffield
18th Jazz Cafe London
Also another date may be at Nottingham (used to be Rock City)
I will be getting tickets for the Manchester gig, just have to make sure that all the friends who may be interested know about it first. Seems a long time off, but I will be getting tickets soon!
Anyone been to the Academy 3 before?, last time in Manchester was at the Life Cafe, which was OK, but not the best venue I have been to. I know that the Academy 3 is fairly small (student union bar). But they have professional gigs regularly, so hopefully, it is a better Razz Razz joint. Of course beer helps rosy up the picture a bit, but I don't care to drink too much when Robben's playing. Don't want to hinder the memory storage process too much!

Thanks for the info.

"all tickets" is offering Nottingham gig Tuesday 14th
and several are offering tickets for the mean fiddler (charing cross rd) on 18 November.

Last time he also played "the brook" in Portsmouth. Nice venue.

Any sign of European dates?

got my tickets for the Sheffield gig! Laughing

I've been to the Boardwalk before, and I really liked it in there! Nice atmosphere, Robben's stuff should go down pretty well in there, they've got quite a few rock/blues artists perfoming there regularly. Joe Bonamassa is there 22 September. Quite fancy that one too!

Anyone from the forum going to Robben's gig in Sheffield?

My mistake. The London gig is at the Mean Fiddler, not the Jazz Cafe (as spotted by Rocking Rick). Sorry to mislead!

RoadWarrier, have a great weekend! Curtis Salgado is from my town; he is well worth seeing, but may not be travelling due to some health problems. Also, be sure to catch Tommy Castro as well as Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers - they'll have you dancing non-stop!

I got a message from Ticketmaster about Robben playing in Portland in June. It's not on the Concord site, but it is on this one. Why do we have to search so hard to find out where he is playing? Oh well, I guess it's better than being in the back of a stadium of 30,000. This way we can always find our way to the front row.
