You heard it here first, my friends!!!!

Alf (for those of you who don’t know, the man behind the Zendrive Cool

) dropped me an email today saying how busy he is with production. He said it was nicely interrupted, however, by a call from Larry Carlton's guitar tech stating Larry is now using a Zendrive having heard the tones Robben was getting with it! Crongrats to Alf

Now if the Zendrive is good enough for these two guitarists, then it's got to be good enough for anyone (that is anyone with a guitar, amp, etc Wink

!) Those of you procrastinating are just missing out Confused

For those who are interested, I will soon receiving a pdf from the great "GuitarBuyer" mag from the UK which has a huge review of this great pedal. I'll post it here!

All this talk (or writing!) has made me want to stomp on my ZD and reach for my guitar. Adios my friends!!

Sorry for the misinformation guys, Alf actually got a call from a friend of Larry & his guitar tech! Embarassed

Anyway, the fact remains Larry is using the Zendrive! Cool

While we are on the subject of Larry, does anyone know if he and Robben are actually putting out a DVD & CD of their recent collaboration? I wonder if they will both use a Zendrive on these recordings, if they are released Wink

BTW, I apologise for my obsession of the Zendrive. For me, It is just ssssoooooooo great at coping those Dumble tones, when used with my guitar rig. Thanks again Alf!!

I haven't heard of any recorded medium coming out of the recent RF/LC collaborations (though I am not really involved in that loop, so in that respect do not take MY word as the final word on those shows).

However, when Robben and I did a production breakfast together in NYC back in March and discussed projects being looked at for this year, Robben did tell me he and Larry were tossing around the idea of a tour in Japan together towards the end of the year and the possibilities of recording it for DVD release.

That's all I know about that at the moment and the end of the year is still a loooong way off and many considerations from both Robben's and Larry's ends must be looked at.... so we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Trust me though, IF & WHEN, I hear any news on the subject, I WILL pass it along to you all.

Robben & Larry have got to record that DVD, or at least a live CD. Let's hope it happens.
