that's stunning collection. I love the guitar on the bottom right.
I have a cherry red Tokai ES-100 (no-flame maple) and it works well with Duncan Seth Lover pickups.

Thanks Marin. I have a set of Seth Lover's somewhere. Maybe I should consider trying them in the 120. I was thinking about getting a set of Antiquities, but they are pretty expensive.

Actually I think the Seth Lover and the Antiquity are more or less the same pickup. Ask at the Seymour Duncan board. I think the Seths are unpotted and will sound a bit more open / airy... |

I've heard that too, but supposedly the Seth's are a regular production pickup and the Antiquities are hand made. Both I believe are unpotted. I'll check out the Duncan board to see what I can find out over there. Thanks for the tip.

Wow! And my wife thinks I have guitar overload with 8!
If I recall, didn't you have a red (or black?) RF Baker that you sold, or do you still have it? I still have my Baker Jr. California which I'm going to have to aggressively start marketing (the new/old house needs some attention)... |

Let me know the answer when you get it. I had the Seth Lovers in a Hamer Artist a couple of years ago. The guitar never touch me but I liked the pickups. |

Feel free to use me as an example to convince your wife that you need more guitars!
I did have a black Baker RF but I sold it recently to fund the purchase of some new guitars.

I didn't find anything particularly interesting on the Duncan website except that both pickups are unpotted, and the Antiquities are hand made in the "Antiquity room", and the magnets and bottom plates are signed by SD himself.
The consensus on the forum seems to be that the Seth's and the Ant's are quite similar except that the Seth's have a bit more edge to them, and the Ant's are a bit smoother and warmer. Since I prefer warm and smooth, if money were not an object, I think I would go with the Antiquities.

Love the collection, Bill. But to get way off topic, what's with the crazy eyes on that cat in the picture next the sofa? It's scaring me. |

If you roll back the treble with the Seths you have the antiquities sound. They are too dull for my taste.

That's better, Bill. But I thought the scary cat with the crazy eyes was pretty cool. |

Actually, she's not scary. You can see her sitting there on the arm of the sofa.
