...I think Daved runs a purple cable into the Dumble, and if so, the order of the pedals is Zendrive, Wah, and Volume. The picture I've got on my desktop of Robben's rig from the Greg Allman shows has a purple cable going into the Dumble's input. I'm betting Daved uses that cable on purpose and it always goes to the amp. Frank
That purple cable is a custom made cable by Pacifix.
They used it in their "Patch" cables which are designed as shorter consol patch cables. I asked them to make a long version for Robben, which they very kindly did (Thank you, very much. ).
It is a very "clear" sounding cable so I use it on the long run to deliver as 'true' as possible a signal from the downstage processing to the upstage electronics.
It has worked well for us for several years now.
Though Robben does go thru his "experimental" phases where he likes to try other things, and we may try some of the other cables in the Pacifix line for comparison sometime again in the near future.
But till that time at least, the long Pacifix "Patch" cable is my 'delivery system' to ampworld. _________________ B C-ing U!

hey jim - if you make it to the safari sams gig on may 8th i was wondering if you could get some more pics of landau's pedals & rack.
Sure, Kevin. If I go, I'll take a couple of pics. Check out the pics I took the first night because I have a couple of Mike's setup there. I didn't get all of the pedals, but you can see some of them. And he's had the same amp and strat every night since then.
Jim
Kevin, I took several more pics last Monday night but I couldn't remember at the time who asked me to get more. Did you see them? _________________ "Somebody's got to make some music around here." - Robben Ford
