I think the Boss is what I'm going to go with first as it's much cheaper than the Barber, Sparkle Drive, Zen etc., and right now I don't have the coin, even the Boss will be two months down the road.

My question is, you who are using this pedal - what setting should I use to get close to the RF tone. thanks

I guess I meant the SD 1 super overdrive by Boss.

More seriously the boss overdrive sounds like a chainsaw. Strong finger grease might be added... Also consider the Compressor in Garth Webber tone.
