Hi Elizabeth,

great to have you back (we hope to see you around here more often now the kids are off school!)!

Glad to hear you all had a great time at the gig, you lucky so and so's (Elizabeth, feel free to correct my grammer and spelling Wink ). I just hope that little box of Zen is OK. Perhaps someone can find out what was wrong and post here so Alf can get a good night's sleep.

Idea Perhaps the Captin should sell members only forum TShirts (a poll could be set up as to what actually is printed on them) so when it comes to a gig like last night's you can all be easily identified!! I think a carnation in the top pocket is a little bit cliche.

All the best,

DD

Dude, not a bad idea: forum t-shirts. I'd buy a couple. I bet Elizabeth could come up with some great designs to screen. As far as color- my vote for the same shade of yellow that is one of Robben's suits that he wore in shows a couple of years ago...

Jeez, patocaster, I was in row H, dead center...were you sitting next to me?

Wow, my wife and I were in seats 30 & 31. I am still tapping my toes two days later.

We were in 22 and 23...imagine that! Maybe I climbed over your feet a few times, Pato??? I'll bet I did...and I was so proud that I did not step on any toes! How was I to know that the toes I missed belonged to some of us? Maybe you were the one who told me it was ok when I apologized the 25th time I climbed back over.

And diatonicdude, please do not worry about grammar and spelling....I am on vacation! Ok, so I start teaching summer school next week, but that is just because I am going to buy my son a car. (It is really for me, so I can stop driving him around!) Speaking of my son, he has some video of his performances online. I will get the link, so you can see why I am so proud of him!

Hey, instead of a carnation, how about a rose in the teeth? Always wanted to do that! Of course, there is always the trench coat...no, never mind.

Robben did unplug near the end and went directly into his amp, but it seemed like they were experiencing some electrical problems, although like Patocaster, my toes are still tapping! It was a superb night!

Johnny, thank you for your vote of confidence concerning my good taste. I'm thinking maybe a really nice silk; you know, something that drapes really well and feels even better.

And Bunny, I think his hair looked wonderful; you just have to sit close to experience those smiles. Didn't he look happy? Wink He look relaxed and seemed to be really enjoying the experience. They both did...fabulous energy and an obvious respect, admiration, and love for each other. Damn, what a fine show. I am still smiling about it! Very Happy

e.

I was in the 5th row general admission seats, which were great! I was the loudmouth that Larry referred to. I said, "Awwww Robben, come back!" when Larry was joking and said, "Robben, you're great, but get outta here!" Hope to meet you sometime. My husband and I think that just might've been the best concert we've ever seen and we've been to many. I did love his attire and thought of you when I eyeballed his shoes.

...and I was the one who yelled, "YEAH!!" to your comment. Next time I will know to yell, "Is that you, bunny?"

Ok, that's it. Next show we have to figure out a way to identify ourselves. How about a slinky silk smoking jacket, something on the order of the velvet one Robben wore? I still love the idea of little dumbles and teles all over it. (Speaking of which, I went to see Bill Kirchen last night up in Mill Valley, and his tele looks like it has been "rode hard and hung up wet," and does it ever make a fabulous sound!

Monsieur lobster, what's wrong with hormones? They're good for you, like vitamins! Wink
