(disclaimer) As a newbie, I realise I risk lynching by asking this... Embarassed

Is anyone aware of any good midi files available for any of Robben's songs? Must be well programmed and must definately be from a legal and licensed source.

I'm only aware of one site - bandtrax.com - who have Talk to Your Daughter and Start It Up. TTYD is actually pretty good, when you wipe out the guitars (and put real ones in of course!) except for a pretty awful crash/bang style drum ending. Start It Up sounds pretty ordinary in their demo so I haven't bothered purchasing it.

I lack the backing of a real band these days so much appreciated if anyone could assist.

Hello, i used to browse yahoo.us a lot to find midi files, Free Midi files,
Never find a Robben's tune BUT a lot of gems anyway , it's like lottery, some are awesome sme are crappy.
So i find a lot of blues and even jazz stuff or fusion, no Blue line, but
you can find Born undr a Bad sign, Key to the highway, Pretty woman,
and if you can you might edit the best parts to do a Robben's one.
Hope it helps. Just put midi files in your browser. But u know this.

Thanks - gotta agree with you - there are some crappy ones out there (most of them in fact). Think I have a midi somewhere of Born Under A Bad Sign which is ok, not quite the same as Robben's version though.

Problem with the free midi files is they tend to be fairly ordinary - I don't mind paying for the good ones if they've been well programmed and hopefully somewhere along the line the artists get a cut too.

Even then, some of the so-called pro midi sites sell a lot of garbage too!
