How about the chord progressions for Top Of The Hill? Thanks!
Ok, I'm guessing and hoping that all of you great guitar players out there are busy with gigs this weekend, and that you'll easily figure out the chords and post them, with simplicity, sometime this coming week, I hope.
And, I thank you, because this is my alltime favorite Robben Ford tune. I just want to have the joy of strumming along with the song, and perhaps someday, maybe even solo over it. Bonus points for the person who creates a backing track...

JZ, you can buy the tab book, or you can barre the third fret and just strum away! (Or you can ignore this beginner... ) _________________ Travelling by train of thought

Thanks kindly for your help and support, RW!
Yeah, I can strum away with the first bunch of bars with the simple barring of a few strings that sound close enough, but then I run out. It's like when you know the beginning words to a line of a verse, and then fade to humming...
I probably could do the work to figure it out (eventually), but I was looking for the easy way out from the forum experts who already know it. However, I'm sure that, due to the lack of a response, they're all hoping that I'd figure it out on my own, thereby helping me on the road to becoming a proficient and well-rounded guitar player. Yup, that's it!
BTW, I would also very much appreciate the chords to Over My Head. And, bonus points for the backing track...

I think the first part of this song sounds like "Come Together."
Is Robben paying royalties to the Beatles?
I mean, just look what happened to Geroge Harrison!
IMHO, this is a pretty cool progression...lots of shifts of the tonal center...sophisticated chord voicings, etc...
While I can do a pretty good job of transcribing via the keyboard, it's HARD to write this stuff down so that a guitar player can "get it" short of a full treble clef/bass clef manuscript...you really have to see/hear the whole picture before you can see/hear just parts of it, if that makes any sense!?!?
Anyway, I'll take a SWAG at it soon...it's a cool tune!

One of my favorites as well. Nice melody, great rythm, excellent solo...It has it all

I don't think it'll hurt to ask, especially since I've paid for this cd once already, but going through my song books, I found that the accompanying audio cd to Robben's "Playin' The Blues" is MIA. Would somebody be kind enough to make and send me a copy? Please pm me...
