After months and months of reading about you lucky buggers over there in Nocal, Socal, Mid Cal, lesser Cal and so on, and your reviews of "Last Night At JJs" or "RF at Yoshis" and such like (please bear with me, but us Brits feel, at times, rather starved of decent gigs to go to) I finally have something to post about: October 4th, North Shields Customs House - Joe Bonamassa!!! Yessir indeedy. The young man finally graces our shores with a UK tour. Just don't expect me to post an exhautive set-list ... I'll probably be exhausted myself by the end of it all ... I lead a sheltered like, you understand. No shudden shocks, raised voices or muffled booms - the IRA used to be good at that, but they've stopped now. The only muffled booms around here are the results of very good curries or unexploded World War II bombs - but I digress. I think I need professional help. _________________ "Creativeness often consists of merely turning up what is already there. Nines, you will enjoy the show, I'm sure. I hope it's an "intimate" club setting. I've seen Joe at both a small and large clubs, and the small club was much more fun (especially when you're sitting 10 feet in front of Joe like I was)...
