I saw a rumor on the Gear Page that Dumble is working with Fender to mass produce a Dumble-designed amp, possibly some version of the ODS. Daved, have you heard anything from Alexander about that?

Anyone tried the Fender Vibrolux with the César DIAZ Mod (SRV kind of sound) ?
Why not a Fender "Robben Ford" signature amp . Wait a minut , no, not that , they will charge X tra money for it. Anyways it looks like an impossible task. Granted that everything is oversized in the Grumple, and that the master word for a factory is economy ......................

It could help those who are on the impossible quest to try and sound like Robben.............
If it gets affordable, that is. _________________ "Don't play what's there, play what's not there" Miles Davis |

Interesting, a "factory authorized" clone, if you will. It wouldn't be the same as a real tuned just for you ODS, but it would be interesting to see how it would stack up against things like the Fuchs, Two Rock, Skystrup and Glasworks. _________________ There are no such things as wrong notes, there's only the look on your face.

I wouldn't think Dumble would want any part of a mass produced amplifier with his name on it. If he needed money he could build some new amps on his own and sell them for big bucks. _________________ Ham Fisted Bloozer |

But then again, look at Joe Barden doing his thing with All Parts, and the never ending saga of Gene Baker and whoever owns his name right now. Sometimes these guys just need, or want, a more professional support and distribution system than they can manage on their own. And I bet a Dumble endorsed Fender amp would 1) go for big bucks, and 2) be very much in demand.
or it could just be a rumour... |

Me thinks you are thinking of the new Fender Super-Sonic, which has a glassy clean side w/ 2 channels and a "bun" side that sounds very similiar to a Fuchs ODS.javascript:emoticon('') _________________ Kerry Watts
