Hmm, so that will be

Vol 3 o'clock
Gain 11 o'clock
Tone 6 o'clock
Voice 2 o'clock

A very bright setting
Hmm, on mine I can't get any of the knobs to 6:00. That would be pointing straight down, wouldn't it?

I have to keep the volume pretty low or else there's a huge level jump when I engage it. And note that Robben doesn't use the OD or pedal for big volume jumps, he plays clean solos as well. My Zen has to be set between 8:00 and 10:00 depending on the gain setting.

I'd say to start with the gain, tone and voice all around the middle and set the volume so that it isn't radically jumping up when engaged. Then start playing with the tone and voice in opposite directions. Turn the tone down to 10:00 and the voice up to 2:00 for example. I've found that the pedal channels Robben best in the mid range of settings. I've only used extreme settings if I was trying to get some other sound.

Hi Steve. The picture I've got came from this forum and it has the knob at the lower left with the white dot at the six o' clock position. I just went back and looked at it again.
