Hi Daved. Steve here from Segarini Country. I bought a Kingsley Deluxe 30 amp made in Canada (www.kingsleyamplifiers.com)
because I can get a very early Robben/ Dumblish sound from with a lttle AC30 top end zing (Or not) especially with a JB and 59 as Robben used to use.
Most of the reviews from Harmony Central make the Dumblish comparison. Readers here should check out the Dino review. Just had a guy who uses a Fuchs, even knows Scott Lerner and was very frustrated with it call me about it and is selling his Fuchs and has ordered a Kingsley. At $2000 or so these amps will help you sound like Robben so long as you can your play. LOL.
I think Robben would like this amp a lot. It's a very classy well made piece of gear with almost a cross Brit/ American sound. Had one Marshall guy try it who said it almost plays itself it is so touch reponsive.
