Fill, I've been watching that video a lot too ! There's another song from the same concert posted as well. Too bad you can't buy a tape of the whole set ! _________________ Travelling by train of thought |

FYI, the stuff on youtube.com is streaming video, meaning it isn't meant to be downloaded. However, there is software out there that can download streams (at least for Apple, don't know about PC, but I imagine there is for it also). While I haven't tried one yet, I've read that it works... |

Actually, the youtube.com videos are Flash files and, normally, can't be downloaded and saved to your computer. However, if you're using a Mac, there a great program called TubeSock that will let you transfer the videos to iTunes. It works perfectly and they're working on a Windows version that should be released soon. Here's a link to their website:

There's a minimal $15.00 charge for the program and it's worth every penny. Hope this was helpful. |

Ron, did you get this to work? I tried it once, and I don't exactly remember where I got stuck and why. I think it was the conversion step after download that didn't work...
Adrian, this Tubesock program- is it one step and done, or is there a conversion process too?
Thanks,
JZ |

JohnnyZ: It's mostly one step and done........imported and converted into iTunes after you begin to play the video and then open TubeSock. There are certain videos (a few of Robben's) that have "embedding disabled by request" and when TubeSock opens you won't actually see the video playing within the program. However, while it's playing in YouTube, just click "Save" and it will still be imported and converted in iTunes anyway. It is a great program and, as I said..........worth every penny of $15.00! I hope this explains it a bit better. |

It was good being able to view Robbens brother Pat talking about that one album that came in to Ukiah by mistake. Pat looked as though he was full of life...and an excellent drummer.......and Mark blowing that harp endlessly...... |

Best $15 I've spent in a long time. Thanks for the tip! _________________ "Somebody's got to make some music around here." - Robben Ford |

Yes I did get it to work really easily. The steps are:
1) Copy the link into the space at the top of the page and press download
2) a little further down the page the link address turns up and you press the download button to the right of the link.
3) depending on your browser it will ask you where you want to save it
4) once saved changed the file extension to .flv
5) watch and enjoy!!
I've got so many great clips now I never would have found again. |

I tried three times and I keep getting a yellow box that says "A network issue has occurred that cancelled your last request".
