I'll be at the London gig and was wondering who I can expect to see in the band along with Robben?

I've just gotten off the phone with Dal and confirmed that the band will be a 3-piece with Robben plus Gary Novak on drums and Melvin Davis on bass.

I'm told Robben will be using Twin Reverbs with his Zen pedal. Robben hasn't confirmed yet which guitars he'll want to take.

thanks for that info daved - just wonderingwhat sort of time these guys
will spend together prior to the uk tour - couple of days - a week ??

In the usual Robben tradition, I would imagine basically just a long soundcheck before the first show.

Can we, Europeans, expect an upcoming tour this year (the fall) where we can adore Robben ? Tour with a stop in Belgium / Germany etc... ?
And what about a new cd ? Any news about Robben at all ?
Please Daved, make some phone calls with Dall and Robben, please !

Hi, Fill. Haven't heard from you for awhile. Hope all goes well for you and your lovely wife.

Sorry but, as far as I know, there are no plans for a Euro tour this year, other than the unplugged show Robben tells me he plans to do with Larry Carlton in Paris (and I'm not even sure exactly when that will be).

Robben has been doing lotz of little side & solo projects this year so I have been kind of out-of-the-loop with his scheduling lately. But maybe I'll know more after hanging with him in England over the next 2 weeks. Wink

I know he still plans to record a new CD when we get back from the UK, but it won't be released untill early next year. I would imagine he will tour to support it, but I have not heard of any of his tour plans for next year yet. I'll be sure to post once I DO hear anything.

No, Pierre, I know nothing about it.
But I'll try to remember to ask Robben about it next week.
Or, remind me again in about 3 - 4 weeks and I'll ask Neil about it when I see him on the next leg of the GA&F tour.

I got off this board for a while because lots of things...
Every thing is o.k. now but it has been a very busy year for me and "my lovely wife" , hahaha....
