I'm not going..
...but I'm seeing RF and co for the first time tomorrow night (friday 17th) in Frome.
Really looking forward to it! Bit of a dodgy venue acoustically....but the band will be well into their stride by now so hopefully it won't matter
For those that don't know...Frome is in somerset (zummerzet)....aka 'cider country'....wonder if the band and crew will be sampling any local scrumpy....;) |

Ahhh, Ron, you soppy old thing you!!! I am sure your wife is just as proud of you, goaty and all
Anyway, you are going to be in for one hell of a treat. I have seen Robben a few times now, and he just seems to get better (saw him on Tuesday at Notingham). Even the songs I have heard before are played so differently, and I especially loved Supernatural which was his encore. I personally missed the Dumble amp sound, nevertheless, his playing more than makes up for this . Maybe Matt Schofield will guest too. He also is a great player (and great tone) in his own right. Infact, it would be just as cool to see you up there with Robben (perhaps you should take your strat!!!)
I wish I could join you. Say hello to Daved, if he gets a minute, and even Robben might make an appearence for a chat. Let us know how your night was.
All the best,
