Hey guys,
I've been playing around with this service called Last.FM. It's a social network around listening to music. It let's users share their music listening history - what I call music attention. Once you get on the service and start using it you see the value right away! It's very bleeding edge web 2.0 social network stuff.
It helps you discover new music and people who have simlar musical tastes. The problem is their are few people on the service that like our music! I invite you all to join so we can change that.
That way we can all share our music history together and see what we are all listening too! We can display charts for the group back over here. See examples below.
FYI, there is a tool:
http://www.last.fm/group/iScrobbler
This lets you listen to music on your iPod then upload your music history to the service so you're not tied to your PC. It's a little confusing to setup. So if you need help just post your question here and I will help.
Please come join me over on last.fm!
They also have widgets that you can add to your blog or myspace pages or even board posts. See mine here:

No takers? I guess I'm hanging over the Geek line again!
Trust me this is very cool!
You get your own music charts!
You can post these in your profile.
You get to find other people who listen to similar music.
You discover new artists by looking at other people's charts.

Looking for some ideas for posting my stuff and found this old thread (hey, sounds like a song title, 'this old thread'....). I have just re-opened my Soundclick account to add a few tunes which is found at www.soundclick.com/davidmillion
I'll check out the last.fm site in due course and let you know what I make of it.
My stuff is eclectic to say the least, but I am planning to get into some Robben-inspired material soon.
Meanwhile, you're welcome to pay my Soundclick page a visit - latest track - These Crazy Things - is a bet to see if I could embrace a whole bunch of disconnected stuff that I got from a friend on the Fender Discussion Page, and make a song out of it. I did and I came up with a really cheesy US accent in the process......they'll never let me in the country now...!
