I'd be happy to help, let me know. Spam is causing all sorts of havoc on the few discussion groups I frequent. |

I enjoy this board very much. I'd be glad to help. It's really a shame that a few people (I use that word to avoid my own post getting kicked out!) can spoil the enjoyment of so many.

I, also, enjoy this discussion board very much and would be glad to lend a hand. Just tell me the specific process for deleting spam entries. (Since I don't see an "X" anywhere, I'm assuming you must have administrator privileges to delete an entry?). I'm sure with a few members checking the site daily, we could keep it very clean. |

Dave, can you change the registration process to screen for spammers? I understand it's important to keep an "open" environment that encourages participation, but it looks like there's a lot of filler on the Memberlist. Change the locks or card them at the door. _________________ Travelling by train of thought |

Count me in too! I frequent this board daily and I would be more than willing to aid in keeping this issue at bay.
it might be worth considering a few moderators from different time zones also; that way Europe could get to works before you USA guys rise in the morning, and visa versa (of course moderators from other continents would also be a plus!)
Cheers,

I have tried that...
That means that a person then needs to approve or disapprove each member. The spammers keep trying to join... _________________ www.hendersounds.com

Kirk,
As per DiatonicDude's suggestion, I'm happy to help out from this timezone if you'd like that level of coverage. You might be ok with the extra moderators so far though.

It looks like there are plenty of new moderators now, but just in case, I'd like to throw my hat in as well since I'm a daily regular, many times a day, in this forum... |

Kirk and gang: Sorry that my schedule would make me only a very occassional monitor. Otherwise I'd be happy to help. But many thanks to all of you who have volunteered. Photos of Robben, yes. Photos of Britney Spears, no. Unless she's pictured playing a historic LP through a Fender SR. _________________ - BlueRunner |

Add my name to the list if it's not too late. I'd love to help out here!
