I went to the first annual Clearwater Blues Festival over the weekend. It was a free event and it was very well organized. It was held in Coachman Park, along the Bay. The weather was perfect ! Johnny Winter was the headliner on Saturday. Coco Montoya, Chris Beard, Jimmy Griswold and Rent Money also played. Sunday's headliner was Eric Sardinas. Tinsley Ellis, Eric Lindell, Damon Fowler and Angel for Blues also played Sunday.
It was my first time seeing Chris Beard and Eric Lindell -- both gave great performances. I also loved Coco Montoya's set as well as Damon Fowler's. Here's a couple pictures from the weekend.
