Just got back from Spring Break ! Four days in the woods and not one mosquito bite -- just incredible.
It was my first time to Suwannee Springfest, a music park along the banks of the Suwannee River in Live Oak, Florida. The festival lineup was right off My Faves List -- Jorma Kaukonen, Bobby Lee Rogers, Roy Book Binder, Paul Geremia, Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams, The Lee Boys, and the newest addition to My Faves List is the Seth Walker Band, a soulful Blues band based in Austin, Texas. There were about 40 bands in all, continuous music on four stages, a beautiful crowd of Blues and bluegrass lovers and no rain. In addition to all the great music, I attended two hands-on workshops with fingerstyle Bluesman Roy Book Binder. How cool is that ?

Road warrior , great review as always and nice pics. Thanks for sharing all this music with us . Reading you it downs to me that Florida is a very nice place so far from some "clichés" between "Miami Vice" "Scarface" &
"Truman show ". How cool is that ?
