Any news about the line up on Saterday?

I'm still in doubt whether I will go see Robben in Antwerp on Saturday or not...will this be with his own band or with the Ford Blues band, or is that still not known yet? Seems a little bit vague to me...I'd like to see Robben play his own stuff and not him being "just" a guest player (and not singing either) in the Ford Blues band. Any clue what this will be for a gig, anyone?

I will be there Henk! Not only for Robben, but also for the New Cool Collective, a great Dutch Big Band with Anton Goudsmit on guitar. Also a great guitar player! The band line up for Robben will be o.k. Never saw a bad one!

Don't miss a chance to see the brothers performing together especially if Mark is on harp . You'll be surprised by Volker too. And you will experience a great interaction between band members.

This will be a Robben Ford Band, 3 piece group.... not Ford Brothers.

Gary Novak... drums, Chris Chaney... bass.

that's a great line-up..I saw Gary Novak play with Mike Landau a couple weeks ago.. His drumming really impressed me and I would love to see him play with Robben..
To bad I can't make it this time Sad

Hello Friends,
Just came back from NYC and full loaded with jazz material (some JOE SAMPLE / GEORGE DUKE / CRUSADERS -stuff) and dying to see RF in Antwerp ! My tickets where brought by a delivery service from Brussels so I don't have to worry about that !
Great news that Robben will come with Gary Novak and Chris Chaney !
IT WILL BE ALL BLUES !!!!!
Voor HENK : wie komt er nu allemaal naar Antwerpen van onze vrienden van dit forum ? Ik zal er zijn tegen de tijd dat RF begint want vroeger gaat niet. Kunnen we misschien iets afspreken ? Waar en wanneer ? Na de show ?

I'll be there too when Robben plays together with Larry at North Sea Jazz festival in Rotterdam. Steely Dan, Joe Bonamassa, Robben and Larry and Meceo Parker are playing on the same headstage on Saturday evening.

Dear Robben fans,
Just back home from Antwerp to see the Robben gig at the harbour jazz fest ! Amazing gig and the new numbers are awesome ! Robben looked vital and kicked some ass ! He looks younger and his musicians were stunning and perfect in play ! It was fine to see Robben again and hope that there will come another gig soon in Belgium.
PS : Daved, nice to see ya and hope you have a few days to see Antwerp !
