I remember listening to the Blue Line CD around the same time as Larry Carlton's "Kid Gloves" CD came out. Carlton's "If I Could I Would" had the same sort of feel as Robben's "Life Song (One for Annie)." It's a time I was contemplating whether there was an Annie in my own future. Those tunes are linked in my head.
