Daved:

I am looking into getting a Variac. I have a Power Factor Pro (that serves a different function). Lately, the power at my house has been reading 116-118. I've seen this at gigs too.

What model Variac do you recommend? Aeolian, if you've checked these out and know, please give me your two cents as well.

Jack, as you probably know there is some info here http://online-discussion.dhenderson.com/RobbenFord/viewtopic.php?t=1337&highlight=variac though no specific model info. I think any model rated 3 to 5 amps would do (would be good to have one with meter built in). Also, a google search of variac shows much info. cheers
