I want to say hello to all of the fine people here. I am a huge music fan although I cannot play a lick of it myself. I admire those with the knack for playing and who knows maybe someday, I might just take it up as a hobby.

My taste in music ranges from Jazz, Blues, to Country, Rockabilly, and R&B.

A friend turned me on to Robben Ford and I love his music. I even got me a signed CD!!! Wooohoooo!

I just got back from an awesome concert last Friday night: Stray Cats, The Pretenders, and ZZ Top. I'm intrigued with the upright bass and wow, balancing on that and playing it?! THAT is talent right there!

You can have my TV but don't take my radio!

Keep Rockin'!

Welcome Rockin' Robin,

It's never too late to take up guitar for a hobby! I encourage you to get yourself a guitar and start today. I did that myself five years ago and it's been a mental challenge and a lot of fun. Just go for it.

The real mental challenge is talking yourself out of buying the next guitar you see that has the right combination of curves, sparkle, pickups and general 'come to me' factor.

Otherwise known as GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome). I've succumbed to GAS many times and believe me, it's much easier to quit smoking and drinking than it is to suppress GAS... Laughing

Hehehe, so I've heard!

I don't know if the guitar is for me though. I'm not very coordinated. I will probably continue to admire from afar. Cool
