Hi all! It's Sunday morning down here in New Zealand and I am kicking back drinking good coffee and enjoying Robbens latest offering, ' Truth'.
It has been awhile between albums but I have to say it has been worth the wait. Awesome as expected.
I had the pleasure of meeting Robben a few years ago while he was on tour down this way. We had a good conversation over a scotch and I was blown away of how he just came across as an everyday guy. Managed to get a few albums autographed which was cool.
I am really into Jazz fusion and Robben has always been top of the list for me. The work of Jing Chi a real highlight.
Anyway must go get a coffee top up!
This is my first post here so Hi everyone and have a great weekend!

Hello Nigel (always liked that name!),
Welcome, and I'm glad you're groovin' to Truth. Also check out Neil Larsen's Orbit since you enjoy Robben's jazzier side. It's also a very recent album, and I recommend buying it through a vendor named Elusive Disc. They offer free shipping for first-time customers, although I cannot say if it holds for outside the US. But, whatever the cost, I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as Truth...
Come back often! _________________ Soul on Eleven |

And Robben is going to be in D.C. for 4 nights/8 shows next month !!!
I wonder what his line up will be ?

I read that Gov't Mule bassist Andy Hess would be joining Robben for the NY, DC, and Oakland gigs. _________________ Travelling by train of thought |
