Robben was blistering tonight at The Mint in front of a standing room only crowd of about 120. ! I saw two great shows in Washington DC about 10 days ago, but tonight he took it to another level. He played for nearly two hours straight and finished his set with "Supernatural", which he said they had not planned to play tonight...but his opening act was Kevin Sandbloom, who wrote the tune, so why not? This version of the band included Greg Matheson on Hammond B3 and Travis Carlton on bass, with Gary Novak continued on drums. He tore up the joint on "Cannonball Shuffle" and of course, "Lovin' Cup", all topped off with a smoking rendition of "Chevrolet" as an encore. Fantastic Wednesday night in LA!!!

More have observed this post then were in the theatre...........RF's music is so much more important then the earth will ever understand.

I saw a report on Sunday morning TV that told of an Elephant retiring from a North eastern zoo. The Elephant went to a reserve in Tennessee to live out it's life. It is there with about 40 others from exhibits be it training trickery or zoo life........It lives in an undisturbed environment.

I am 44.

Will I be alive the day...on the news I hear or read that the last Elephant died today in captivity?

God I sure hope not.
