Hi,
I have the show here on DVD since that night!
If you people can recommend some ways to spread it out, I'll go ahead and do so. Maybe filesharing or I can send a copy to anyone out there.
Greetings
Michael

I have been thinking about that but :
- The DVD would have to be converted as otherwise it would be too big of a file, unless you have access to your own server
- I am slightly unconfortable about giving full public access to this file, as this is usually a touchy subject for Robben. Obviously this is different there as it is an official broadcast, no hidden camera or something of the sort, but I wonder what would his position be in this case.

Hi!

I don't think there are any problems in publishing the video because it was, as you already said, an official broadcast.

But the problem with the big file is significant. Do you have a way to convert it? Since I'm from Germany, too, I would also take it by post Wink

Well yeah, it can be converted to Divx, it would then make a file around 650 Mo.

Hey folks, got the DVD and made 3 DivX AVI files out of Robben's performance, each one has around 250 MB... the first one is available for download at http://www.sharebig.com/d/snyltxryt/0uRqEQv47D0107A0A/RobbenFord_Rockpalast2007_Pt1.avi.htm
soon... upload is not finished yet, but in approx. 30min
EDIT: oh, if you are asked for a password, it's "robben07"
I'll also try to upload file 2 now, the link will be:

For those who haven't downloaded this performance and watched it.......you're in for a real treat! I just finished Part 1 and you'll have a chance to see Robben play both is ES-335 & his Telecaster during the same song, "The Way You Treated Me", and get to hear the subtle differences between the two guitars. It really doesn't matter which guitar Robben plays.....really incredible chops and, as I've said too many times in the past.......the absolute best rhythm player I've ever heard! Also during the same song.......a very nice bass solo by Travis Carlton and one of the nicest drum solos I've ever heard by Toss Panos..........a fantastic drummer! And, this show as filmed so well, you'll really notice all the small nuances of Robben's playing.........what a way to start the weekend! Thanks, again, for the time spent converting the video and posting it.

That is a very good concert; thanks for making that available to us!
Great tone too!
He does look a bit uncomfortable in the direction of the guy who mixes his monitors; especially in the beginning.
