Best moment in my life as far. Invaluable experience . I were total seltaught & terminal moron, all i've got was a "nice touch".
Now i'm still lame but i know why.
More seriously whatever happens to u after this experience , you'll never need someone to tell you how working music & guitar. _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_music.cfm?bandID=147748 |

Cm being Dorian not Aeolian. |
Well, I'm working on this one again. But I still am not grasping why I should think of this as Bb major. The chord we're talking about is Cm (or Eb major) so in that context I would expect the vamp to go from Cm to Fm7 but this is Cm to F7.
Is it just because paying a dominant 7 instead of the m7 makes for a stronger resolution and sounds cool? Because it does sound cool.
In my studies of ii-V-! turnarounds, this happens all the time. Just change any m7 to a dominant because it sounds cool. _________________ "Somebody's got to make some music around here." - Robben Ford |

So just keep looking at this as a Minor thing like the Cminor Melodic
hzrmonized scale :C-Maj7 D-7 EbMaj7 #5 F7 G7 A-7 b5 B-7 b5..
I II III IV V VI VII
Cm ,I, goes to F7, IV,
hope it makes sense . However you are gonna get it. |

hi Jim in fact in this case you have to relate to harmonic minor scale
C-M7 D-7b5 EbMaj7#5 F-7 G7 Abmaj7 B dim
I II III IV V VI VII
THE I TO IV MOVE MAKES MORE SENSE |

C'me on Johnny don't make me blush. Like is said , and i still have to take it for me : laid on the paper it looks so easy .......
But ,mmmmmmmmmmmmm, i think we have to party. I can see it in my dreams.......Playing music, telling weird tales, making stupid jokes, better like booze on the hoose than boys on the hood (my god here i start) and doing crazy scales contest...... Now will we do this men alone or what.......... In a way that helps to define the general consensus.
But Jim will have to learn Harminsation of minor scales that's the deal. |
