I was fortunate enough to see Robben last night at BB King's in Orlando. I must say that I was completely blown away and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The venue was great. I snagged a nice comfortable seat on the mezzanine right above Robben's corner of the stage.

For all gear-heads; it was 2 Fender Twins, volume-wah-Zendrive and the guitar on the cover of "Truth".

Here's what I remember from the set list in no particular order:
-How Deep in the Blues (opened with this one)
-Lateral Climb
-Indianola
-Riley B. King
-Too Much
-Peace On My Mind (this one really blew me away because it's one of my favorite tracks from Truth and I didn't expect it to be in the set list)
-There'll Never Be Another You
-Moonchild Blues
-I'm Tired of Talkin'
-Supernatural

He and the band played for about 1 1/2 hours. As a matter of fact, they played their asses off! It was a nice lesson in the power of a trio.
It's hard for me to put into words how much I enjoyed this show.

If he comes to your town, or if you have to road trip, it's worth it. I actually met a nice lady and her son b/4 the show that had flown in from Canada just to see the show!

Anyway, great show!

Bill

I too was at the show. I happened to be in town for a conference and stuck around an extra day to see the show. I got a seat in the first row right at the corner, so it was gerat. I thought the band sounded fanastic and performed very well. It was a lot of fun.

I also got to hang out a bit with Robben, Tos and Travis after the show. Interestingly enough, Robben said he was not having a lot of fun due to the fact that he did not think it sounded as well as he would have liked. I reassured him that it sounded great out front and that everyone dug the show!
