In the studio at some point? I heard this somewhere and I always wondered if it was true. |

i believe.... in the studio they didn't have any either....
I listened to one track and what you ear is Kiss soloing stuff. You should blink your ears to assume Robben is playing. _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_music.cfm?bandID=147748 |

Yeah, I have the tracks. He talks about it on an old clinic tape I have from the 80's. He played on 'Creatures Of The Night" and the tracks he played on were: "Rock and Roll Hell" (you can tell it's him on the solo especially, at least to me) and "War Machine" which has some quirks in it that aren't the usual rock riffs. He says on the tape that they asked him to join the band as Ace was having some problems I guess. He could be a millionare but he stuck to his guns with his own career, luckily for us, I suppose. |

Yea, I agree. I never heard KISS shuffle like "Prisoner Of Love" or "When I Leave Here", eh? |

so i bump on the schmuckery i stated in an other thread ; better play in kilt rather than with these insanous make-ups.
But they sure revolutionized the Rock scene adding the tongue dropping to all the stage acrobatics (though as usual the 1st i'have seen to show me a tongue were jimi).
As californians like to print on cheap T-shirts : LIFE IS A BEACH.
Being an old fart i've never dug Kiss, once i did my Alice Cooper duties
they were not worthing my time. And Alice Got a Real live Giant Snake and a false Electric Chair when he came to play Espace Cardin in Paris 1970 and they were rocking hard. _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_music.cfm?bandID=147748 |
