Perhaps a silly question, but there's usually 'shrooms in the quiche, no? |

There is artistry indeed and a comfortable familiarity with his guitar, but a little tension around the edges. It's like he's a loaded spring that is ready to just kick off and last night, I think we saw 85% of his real power - scary to think what he's like with a bigger stage and a more dynamic crowd. |
MB, what you described here reminded me of the few times seeing Robben in larger venues- larger meaning theater-type settings. The first time was with his band during the Keep On Running album tour (Hilary Jones on drums; Dewayne Pate on bass; and, Bob Malach(?) on sax). Robben was in total charge of this tight and very impressive band of musicians, and the volume, especially his guitars, was satisfyingly loud and clean (I'm pretty sure it was a Dumble). Other times were Robben with the Gregg Allman & Friends band a few years back and with John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers. And again, the larger venues seemed to encourage Robben to play with volume and fire and leaving me with chills...
Re: "craftsman". Again, reminds me of seeing Robben meld right in as Gregg Allman & Friends' guitarist during the GA&F '05 tour. Robben played perfectly to each [Gregg Allman] song, hitting all the familiar notes while adding his uniquely excellent solos, and totally blowing-away non-knowers (instant converts)! |

Sure Moderators are welcome. and talking about dime ....
For once in my life the french translator worked , what a surprise....
So Tone is dimed = Tone is Low.
So i like to tweak Tone & voice on my Zen Drive in opposition if i Voice at
8 i tone at - 3 granted center is called 5.
Generally no shrooms in Quiche , but you can do whatever you want .
There is from another part of North a famous "Quiche" called the "Flammiche" and that's done with a lot of a specific cheese (Something to die for when done by experts).
voilą voilą, can't wait for other reports . Any illegal MP3 ????? Stolen Pics??? bof just kidding. _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_music.cfm?bandID=147748 |

Yep. Since a dime is 10 cents, if it's dimed it's on 10.

I get it now. "10 o'clock" is a position relative to a timepiece whereas "dimed" means the setting marked "10".
But of course, my Zen goes to eleven (in case I ever refer to "elevened")... |

I always thought 'dimed' was a term meaning 'full on'. That's what I meant. Having expressed my surprise at Robben's settings the other night I picked up my Zendrive a few days after I last experimented with it and the settings I'd last used were precisely the same as the ones I described the other day.
Either that or my Zendrive has a mysterious life of its own. Who cares - all I know is that Alf builds fantastic pedals and I will not make the same mistake twice by selling this one! |

DIMED: A high decibel level on a stereo.
"We were cruising down Bathurst Street with the stereo dimed, and it was just then that we saw the kitty cat."
I like it... |
