Just noticed that Robben is listed on the Jazz Cafe website on Friday 7 Nov and Sat 8th. A must see of course for all the UK fans if it comes to pass and is confirmed on the RF website.

I still preferred the recent Stables gig though to last December at the JC in London - no support or distractions from the crowd (the exception being "Happy Birthday" of course...), just the music from a very energised band to a repectful audience.

I wonder if he would be willing to fit in a smaller scale clinic/masterclass somewhere central in the UK if this is part of a two week tour, I'm sure lots of us would travel and pay for the such an event.

Also booked to see Ian MacLagan (Small Faces etc) in July at the same venue - the last time he played in Central London, Ron Wood and Kenney Jones showed up and they blasted through a couple of Faces songs - great night.

I'd be up for the clinic session if Robben would do one.

I have to agree the Stables is a far better venue in many aspects;

acessability to those outside London is much better as this is more geographically central to the country, parking, facilities (it even has a music shop!) and general feel to the place is all in all superior. Don't get me wrong, I still like the Jazz Cafe vibe, as it steeped in history as a premier small venue for less main stream artists, but the Stables gets the big thumbs up!

Fingers crossed fo another Stables visit Wink
