What's up
Robben has been in the studio during the month of May recording his newest CD. And those of us who have heard it are pretty excited. It's Robben being bluesy, but his selection of songs are drawn from a variety of styled sources that Robben has enjoyed through the years and then given his own special arrangements and treatments. There are, of course, great originals scattered throughout.
He's also got some incredibly special guests contributing their own '2 cents'... Edgar Winter, Ivan Neville, John Mayall ,and Mavis Staples, to name but a few.With the aid of co-producer John Wooler and engineer Nico Bolas (Who has many interesting and creative ways of pulling the best studio sounds out of Robben), this album is coming together smoothly, quickly, positively, and with a wonderful aura of excitement. We are looking for a Fall release on Concord Records.
We are now offering most Robben Ford CD's,Instructional DVD's and the New Ohne Filter "Live performance" DVD on the web site.
