Hi all, I am new to the forum, can't wait to be be talking Robben, and the guitar with you all. Hope I have some information I can share with everyone.
My first post was hoping that some of you guys would know some stuff about the tour Robben did with Phil Lesh.
I have been a huge fan of the Grateful Dead and all of its incarnations since Jerry died, seen Phil and Friends many times. I also have been a huge fan of Robben's guitar playing for a few years now.
I never knew the two of them played together until recently, and have been listening to the shows non stop. Unbelievable! Robben fits in perfectly, and sounds incredible.
Just wondering if any of you guys knew much of the story behind this collaboration, why it was only for a single tour (cause the shows were much better than other forms of Phil and Friends I have heard...), what Robben's rig was like during this tour, any shows that stood out compared to the others, etc..

John Molo and Robben sound really great together...
