Hi,
We are producing a big concert in Ojai as a fundraiser for a friend to cover her medical bills after a serious illness,and have set the date for Sunday, September 21st, most likely at 4 PM. The venue is still being decided, but it is likely that the concert will be in Libbey Bowl, the beautiful outside venue under the oak trees in downtown Ojai, CA. (Robben's home town). Robben will be joined by Toss Panos and Travis Carlton, and further info. on tickets and times will be posted on Robben's web page. As a special bonus, one of Robben's guitars will be raffled at intermission! wowee!
Save the date and stay tuned for further info.

Perhaps the raffle can be extended in such a way so as to include those of us who cannot attend the show? I'd love to take a chance or two, and I'm sure others like MilliBombs would to. And, this could substantially raise the amount of funds taken in...

we are probably not going to have the raffle after all.

Tickets are now available at www.brownpapertickets.com for the Robben Ford benefit concert in Ojai on September 21st at 4 PM. Robben will be joined by Toss Panos on drums and Travis Carlton on bass, and the event is a benefit for friend and neighbor Tara Jeffery to help pay her medical bills due to breast cancer. Opening act will be Jonathan McEuen.

Yeah, it wouldn't matter to me if it weren't expensive just as long as it still has some of that Robben mojo still in it.

The 4 o'clock show on 9/21 is now sold out. We are adding a second show for the same evening , and tickets will be available very soon on www.brownpapertickets.com/
Since the first show sold out without any advertising at all (just by word of mouth), it is safe to assume that the second show will sell very quickly as well, so if you want tickets, please get them right away.
