Robben Ford Discussion

"Larry Carlton Trio featuring Robben Ford" concert here in Helsinki 24th November was announced yesterday. Larry Carton's website has only three gigs announced -- two of them in Finland and one in Monaco. It seems really strange -- last ten or fifteen years we haven't had many similar events outside festival season. I am not complaining, though.

I really hope that they both bring their Dumbles (or Bludotones as it seems to be the case with Carlton currently).

That's a great future for you, congrats. I can understand your wish to hear the Dumbles, Robben sounds best with his.
It seems to become an issue more and more to bring your equipment to where you play. I had only one gig in Finland but when I flew back what didn't fly with me was my guitar as they wouldn't let me take it with me. Luckily they delivered it 3 days later. It was my fav Ruokangas Duke.
